BLACK PEARL

BLACK PEARL is a three mast dynarig sailing yacht of 106m. The yacht was built to the rules of LY2 at Oceanco near Rotterdam. The rig at Magma Structures near Portsmouth, UK.

SEMarine was appointed as Owner’s Representative and Technical Consultant. This responsibility continued through shipbuilding contract signing, basic and detailed design review and through on-site continuous survey.

The specification was evolved together with Moran Yacht & Ship with a focus on reduction of environmental impact. Techniques to improve energy efficiency were incorporated into the specification and system design. Basic and detailed design was developed. Construction quality assured through on-site continuous survey.
